Sires
MinusDeTails Northern Exposure, "PJ" Grand Champion, Breed Winner, Regional Winner (CFA) International Winner, Supreme Grand Champion 13th Best International Cat (TICA)
Sire: GC, MinusDeTails Nacho Ordinaire Dam: MinusDeTails X's and O's DOB: 05/28/02
"PJ" comes to us courtesy of Kay, Terry and Harley DeVilbiss of MinusDeTails cattery in Texas. The nickname PJ was given to Northern Exposure as a kitten from Kay and Terry since he closely resembles his grand father, Down Pat. PJ stands for "Pat Jr". PJ is a black and white, long hair, rumpy Manx. He is our only stud following the loss of our foundation male CH. Briar-Brae My Black Sambo in March 2006 and the neutering of our dock male from our first litter, Karello Tony The Terrible, a few months later.
PJ is registered with The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) and The International Cat Association (TICA) cat registries. He has achieved many titles in both associations. Both his parents have achieved the titles of International Winner and Supreme Grand Champion in TICA. PJ is currently taking some well deserved time off from showing but he's not seen the last of showing, yet.
PJ began siring litters for Karello Cattery in January of 2006. His kittens have his fantastic boning, size and darling personality. Those who have gone into new homes are cherished, beloved companions. PJ produced three show cats his first year. One of the three, "Cookie", has earned the titles of Grand Champion and 2nd Best of Breed, nationally. Another, Mr. Chaps aka "Cowboy" has earned the title of Grand Premier February 2008. PJ's show quality kittens can be seen on our "Our Stars" page.
Faerietail Dougal Grand Champion (CFA) International Winner, Supreme Grand Champion 7th Best International Cat (TICA)

Sire: CH Kabelkim Coober Pedy of Faerietail Dam: Faerietail Andromeda DOB: 1/22/04
"Dougal" (pronounced Doo'gl)has been made available as stud courtesy of his owner's Phyllis and Trisha Durdy of Faerietail and HappyEndings Catteries. He resides in Washington state which means his females must tolorate flying well. Dougal is a silver (tarnished) classic tabby, rumpy, short hair, Manx. Karello's Aurora Borealis was flown to Washington and bred by Dougal in March 2007. On May 30th, 2007 she delivered her first litter which consisted of six beautiful kittens by Dougal. Four rumpies and two tailed kittens! Two of the kittens co-bred and co-owned with Phyllis Durdy are Karello's Miss America, a tortoiseshell and white, long hair female and Karello's Cindy Crawford, a tortoiseshell smoke and white, long hair female. They are both currently being shown.
Dougal was TICA's North West Region's 7th Best Kitten, 6th Best Cat, and 2nd Best Shorthair Cat in 2004-2005 and North West Region's Best Cat in 2005-2006!! He tried his hand at showing May of 2007 and has decided he likes staying at home better, now.
Dougal and his offspring will be registered with The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) and are also eligable to be registered with The International Cat Association (TICA) cat registries.
A big "Thank you!" goes out to Phyllis and Trisha for sharing their wonderful Manx gentleman with our girls and family.
Dams
CH Karello's Miss America
Sire: GC, Faerietail Dougal Dam: Karello's Aurora Borealis DOB: 05/30/07

"Miss A" is a tortoiseshell and white, long hair, rumpy, female Manx and littermate to GC, BW Karello's Cindy Crawford. As a kitten she strutted around like the world was her pearl and she was a future Miss America. As time went by the name stuck, she tries her best every day to live up to it. She's quite the glamour girl! I plan to add Miss A to my breeding program late 2009.
Karello's Saphira
Sire: GC, BW, RW MinusDeTails Northern Exposure Dam: Karello's Sam's calleigh Duquesne DOB: 09/12/07

Past Sires
Briar-Brae My Black Sambo Champion (CFA)
Sire: GC, Castlemew's St. Louis Blues Dam: Greathouse Emily of briar-Brae DOB: 04/20/95
Sambo (better known as "Bo Bo" by those who loved him most) was a rumpy hi-riser, black with white lockets Manx. Sambo was our foundation male (stud we first began breeding with. He sired many wonderful show cats and delightful, cherished pets over the years he shared his life with us. He had a sweet personality, was very affectionate, loving and had astoundingly sound bloodlines. The show cats he's sired are GP, Karello Rolley Pulley; CH, Premier Karello's Oliver Twist; GP, Karello's Jedi Master Yoda; GC, GP, RW Karello's Sam's Son; GC, RW, Karello's Sam's I Am of Briar-Brae (now of Faerietail Cattery); GC, GP, RW Karello's Play It Again Sam's; and GP Karello's Sam's Rum Tum Tugger; GP Karello's Sam's Bella Luna and GP Karello's Sam's Purrgus McKitty. Sadly, we lost "Bo Bo" in March of 2006, we've continued on with our breeding program and have added PJ as our stud. The contribution "Bo Bo" has added to our lines, cattery and the Manx breed can never be matched. He will always be a part of Karello Cattery and our wonderful cats.
Karello Tony The Terrible
Sire: CH Briar-Brae My Black Sambo Dam: Briar-Brae Chi Chi DOB: 03/21/96
"Tony" was our dock tail stud. Tony is a brown classic tabby, dock tail. Tony is from my foundation pair, their first litter. Tony is a very sweet, loving and affectionate boy, nothing like his name would indicate. After the loss of his father and with the addition of PJ to our breeding program, Tony moved into "retired" status. Tony has done a fine job producing beautiful kittens.

"Tumalle" is a red tabby and white, stumpy, short hair, female Manx. Tumalle came to Karello Cattery 09/07/01. She has not had a lot of litters with us but in the litters she has had, she produces fantastic show cats and highly sought after pets. I love this cat, we share the same adoration for each other. She is so sweet and affectionate, it shows in her pictures. She passes her great personality onto her kittens along with that sweet expression and great confirmation. She is getting up in age, the time has come for her to move into retired status, she was spayed in February 2008 and placed available for adoption, June 2009.

She is a silly sprite who is as loving and affectionate as she looks. She never misses a chance to jump on or walk across your back when you bend over. GC, BW Karello's Cindy Crawford
Sire: GC, Faerietail Dougal Dam: Karello's Aurora Borealis DOB: 05/30/07

"Cindy" is a beautiful tortoiseshell, smoke and white, long hair, rumpy, female Manx. She was a ONE SHOW GRAND at her first Champion show earning the 200 points needed to add the title of Grand Champion to her name. Cindy was my second "Baby Grand" in the many years we've been breeding Manx. (GC, GP, RW Karello's Play It Again Sams, was my first "Baby Grand"!) Later in that same show season(2007-2008) Cindy easily added Breed Winner (BW)to her titles, before reaching the age of a year old. April 2008 she kept going into heat when shown, so she was bred to PJ. One kitten survives from that breeding. April 2009 the heat began all over again and she never seemed to come out so she's been spayed and is being offered for adoption.
Tahame's Lilly of Karello
Sire: CH Tahame's Black Label Dam: CH, GC, Casdelon's Celestial of Tahame DOB 05/17/99
"Lilly" is a tortoiseshell, dock tail, short hair, female Manx. Lilly became available to our breeding program courtesy of Sherman Ross of Tahame Cattery. Lilly's stay with us was short but she gave us "Ebony", "Lady", "Sherman", "Brix", "Fox" and a few others during her stay. Her grand children are many, still a part of Karello Cattery and others. Lilly has been sent to Faerietail Cattery in Washington state where she was spayed and placed in 2006. She is now living the life of luxury as a beloved pet.
